A succession of beautiful scenery makes one feel delighted. A long stay in the same surroundings to make everything the same. Routine work often makes one feel bored But if you take a trip or a long journey on your holidays to some scenic spots or historic sites, that will make great difference.
Travel can widen one’s knowledge. The farther you go, the more you will learn about different politics, economics, customs as well as geography. If you travel the whole world some day, you will fully understand the globe on which we live.
However, too much travel causes tiredness. You get on a bus or a taxi, you travel on the train or in a plane, being patient with the hours needed on your mute from one place to another, that will make you exhausted after a while.

郁金香王国——太子湾 在这个阳光明媚，春色撩人的日子里，我和妈妈一齐去被誉有“郁金香王国”美誉的太子湾去游玩。 来到公园大门，只见两旁都是苍翠挺拔，郁郁葱葱的树木，似乎它们能把天空给遮起来。道路两旁，四周，全被鲜花簇拥着。走进太子湾的中心，周围满是郁金香，红的，粉的，黄的，橙的……颜色各异，千姿百态。从远处望去，仿佛这些郁金香是一个庞大的营队，它们站在一块肥沃的土地上，整整齐齐地排着队伍。一株株郁金香在风妈妈的怀抱中摇曳，仿佛在给大自然跳着优美的舞蹈。郁金香上，蝴蝶，蜜蜂，全都聚拢了，似乎在享受着春天带给它们的希望。 走进太子湾里的小径上，在感受春天芬芳的气息的同时，还可以观赏两旁的樱花树。樱花，小而洁白，它们张着一张张粉扑扑的小脸，微笑着。一阵微风吹过，樱花的花瓣就随风飘落下来，飘在你的头发上，飘进你的袖管里……这种感觉还真别有一番诗意呢！ 穿过小径，映入眼帘的是一片绿茵茵的草坪。草坪上，还有三处“生态角”。令我印象最深的就是名为‘文化之旅’——的生态角了。这是一个由植物、水平台、水景的多样组合的休闲式庭院，给人一种自然，舒适的欧陆风情的体验：在芭蕉树树叶的衬托下，洁白的护栏显得格外的引人注目。在护栏的前面，是一块地面，上面铺着浅棕色的地板。在地面上，放着一张玻璃茶几，上面还放着一只晶莹剔透的玻璃鱼缸，在阳光的照射下，玻璃鱼缸显得格外漂亮。茶几两旁放着两张天蓝色的躺椅，前方的花坛中植满了奇花异草。这种庭院，在我看来简直就是人间天堂了！ 时间一分一秒地过去了，我们的行程即将结束，但在我的记忆中，永不消失的是我对这次愉快的郁金香文化之旅的感受。 公园的四围，是一溜大理石的挡土墙。说是墙，也不过是半尺宽，一尺多高。既然不收门票，也无贼可防。更多的时候，倒成了行人歇息的好去处。 护墙的内侧，是几道波浪形的花圃。紫红，碧绿，鹅黄，层层叠叠，交错生辉，煞是好看。 被花圃拥抱的，是几条弯弯曲曲的青石小道，以无争的清闲伸向远方。小道的两旁，有几尊三峡石，图文并茂，叙说着欧阳修“母教开蒙、学碑初举、洛阳结友、贬官夷陵、名动天下、为国荐贤”的生平往事。 公园最有特色的是那藏青色的大理石广场，方方正正的，光亮照人。广场筑有两排约一米高的弧行石墙，上用行草雕刻着欧阳修的夷陵山水诗《九咏》。常见晨光暮霭中，有鹤发老者，手握两尺来长的毛笔，沾水为墨，挥毫自如，苏醒着心底那段古老的知觉。行人若是路过，宁愿绕道而行，也不肯践字而行，惟恐有辱斯文，亵渎圣观。 回想起来，那公园我也曾多次穿行路过，却不曾静心歇息。只是有一次，和人约定了在公园谈一项投资。许是公园也觉得铜臭味大煞风景，总之，那项投资竟是不知所终。 就这篇行吗？

The 2000-year-old city of Fuzhou is the capital of Fujian Province. It faces the island of Taiwan, off the China coast. Fuzhou is decorated with banyan trees planted during the Northern Song Dynasty (AD 960-1127). Hot springs also bless the city. And the two "Opposing Pagodas" watch over the city from hilltops outside of two the White Pagoda (built in 904 AD during the Tang Dynasty) and the Black Pagoda are imagined by locals to be in some way opposed to each other. Both Pagodas are octagonal and have seven levels. The White Pagoda stands about 135 feet tall the Black Pagoda is over 100 feet. Both make excellent platforms for photographing the city. The Min River runs through the town and into Horse-Tail Harbor. The harbor used to be a military center during the Ming Dynasty now it is an economic zone and boasts the provinces largest shipyard. The city also boasts a 1700 year old scenic park and a zoo. West Lake Park has a 30 hectare lake which has been reconstructed a few times over the centuries. The Fuzhou Zoo has about 100 species of wildlife in a five hectare garden.
