一共有4个版本；分别是：；怪物猎人P（Monster Hunter Portable）→MHP(PSP)（2005年12月1日）；怪物猎人P2（Monster Hunter Portable 2）→MHP2(PSP)（2007年2月22日）；怪物猎人P2G（Monster Hunter Portable 2ndG）→MHP2G(PSP)（2008年3月27日）；怪物猎人P3（Monster Hunter Tri Portable）→MHP3(PSP)(2010年12月1日）；另外也有非官方修改的mod，像万圣节mod版的mhp3，只是贴图修改了下，其他的内容还是和p3一致的。
